Schwägalp latern trail

Away from the hustle and bustle, the Laternli trail on the Schwägalp offers soothing tranquillity and an atmosphere that lets the soul dangle. As soon as the sun disappears behind the mountains and the day bids farewell in fiery red and orange, the lanterns light up the prepared path, illuminating snow-covered forests and spreading a romantic atmosphere.

From the end of November to mid-March, the romantic ‘Laternliweg’ is illuminated every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from 5 pm. The lantern-lit path leads you to the Gasthaus Passhöhe.

During the walk through the Schwägalp Säntis Nature Adventure Park, you can enjoy the prepared path illuminated by countless lanterns, the snow-covered forests and the romantic atmosphere. Afterwards, you can warm up with a hot drink in the Laternlibar, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 17:00 to 20:00 and every day at Christmas and New Year.
