Snowshoe tour Schwellbrunn / Dietenberg circular route

On three routes recognised by the Swiss Snowshoe Association SVS, the area of the municipality of Schwellbrunn can be explored on silent XXL soles. The AR2 route is described here. They are all scenic and, since most of them are on official hiking trails, can also be walked in spring, summer and autumn. The hiker moves at an altitude of 800 to 1100 metres above sea level, and fog is usually not an issue. Even in the village of Schwellbrunn it is worth taking a close look: The village is of national importance and has many a pretty house with beautiful historical details. The traditional culture and customs are part of the identity of the population. The farming community is omnipresent, with farms scattered over the hills and valleys.
