Around Lake St. Moritz

Best Time of Year
Description
The starting point is the St. Moritz train station, where you can get directly to the lake, or take the Engadin bus to the "Catholic Church" stop and start your walk from there. Whichever side you want to walk around the lake is the same. Either way, you won't miss the view of glamorous St. Moritz.
Note for wheelchair users: Getting on the bus is no problem. But please note that there is only room for one or two wheelchair users per bus. On the other side of the street from the Catholic Church bus stop there is a wheelchair-accessible WC (with Eurokey) and 2 wheelchair parking spaces for motorised travellers. The route consists partly of tarred roads, partly of well rolled natural paths. The lake is not secured with a railing. You should therefore avoid risky turning manoeuvres. The path around the lake is mostly flat, but short gradients of up to 11% are for going over bridges.
