Runca Trail via Punt Desch (11G)

Description
The Runca Trail is undisputedly the best flow trail in Switzerland. The easy to medium trail offers plenty of variety for experienced riders, but also for beginners who are gaining their first trail experience. The Runca Trail leads from Punte Desch to Flims and combines pump track and natural trail elements. The trail starts at the Flims valley station, from where it follows the bikeroute 11G uphill for about 750 meters via Foppa to Punt Desch. From the valley station Flims you follow the village street for a few meters and turn left, here begins the ascent to Foppa. Passing historical buildings and farms you reach the outskirts of Flims. From here the path leads between alpine meadows and cow pastures up to the station Foppa, where you can refresh yourself if necessary and enjoy the magnificent view over the Rhine gorge, the "Swiss Grand Cayon". Afterwards you continue up to Punt Desch, to the entrance of the Runca Trail.
Enthusiastic bike beginners with first trail experiences cruise over easy obstacles like rollers - whereas experienced freeriders chase with speed over more challenging jumps. The numerous rollers, berms and jumps make the Runca Flowtrail an experience in a class of its own for all mountain bikers. The riding surface and the many structures ensure a "flowy" trail with good grip even when the track is wet.
