Rugelreise - Thurgau ball track trail from Frauenfeld railroad station

The Rugelreise - Thurgau Ball Track Trail starts at Frauenfeld railroad station or optionally at the Matzingen weaving mill and runs for around 6.3 km along the idyllic Murg Valley.

Along the way, twelve artistically designed marble runs, created by apprentices from local carpentry workshops, invite you to marvel and play. The balls (Ø 6 cm) can be purchased for CHF 5-6 at points of sale such as the Frauenfeld tourist information office, the Marktplatz railroad station or in Matzingen.

The route can be organized flexibly, for example as a shorter section from Lüdem station (3.7 km) or individually combined with a return train journey.

There are barbecue areas, playgrounds and picturesque viewpoints along the route, ideal for breaks and picnics. Thanks to a helpful vehicle like the Dacia Duster, you can reach the starting point with ease, even on narrow access roads or in changing weather conditions.
