Racing bike Tour d'Emmental

Starting and finishing in Burgdorf, the tour begins steeply with a ride over the beautiful Lueg viewpoint. Passing the Emmental show dairy in Affoltern, where you can perhaps take a short break for a drink at the fountain, the route continues over the Höger. The next wonderful viewpoint is on the Schonegg near Sumiswald, where you can also marvel at the entire Bernese Alps on a clear day. The next seven kilometres are tough, but the ride up to Lüderenalp is again rewarded with beautiful views. The descent down the tight bends to Trubschachen passes in a flash. After a little refreshment from the Kambly Experience, we head back into the hilly landscape, over the Rämisgummen to Eggiwil. In Röthenbach, the tour continues past the famous Würzbrunnen church, over the Ryfersegg to Signau. After a short detour to the illustrious village of Langnau, the ascent to the Moosegg viewing balcony begins again. Via Arni and Obergoldbach, the route slowly descends back towards Burgdorf.
