Description
On the Mostindien Tour you can drive with perfect panoramic view along the Apple Path - across Thurgau. There is a lot to discover. The offer ranges from culinary pleasures to interesting experience paths, museums and castles.
This tour starts in Kreuzlingen, the border city that is just separated from the German Constance by the artwork Kunstgrenze ("Artificial Border") from Johannes Dörflinger. The rented bicycles can be picked up at the train station and then we go. Over the historic Gottlieben and Ermatingen the way leads to Salenstein, where the Arenenberg is located over Untersee and offers the Napoleon Museum, the Patrician Garden and the Bistro Louis Napoleon for a visit.
The idyllic lake and park hotel Feldbach in Steckborn invites to recharge your energy before the way up to Seerücken has to be defeated. But all efforts are quickly forgotten once you see the marvellous view at the Alpstein chain. Finally the way leads from Pfyn, a former Roman castle, to the Ittingen Charterhouse in Warth.
