Sundew Trail

This colourful circular route offers an enchanting opportunity to see butterflies, dragonflies and pretty flowers, including many wild orchids. As you walk among the blueberries in the woods of the highland moor, you’ll feel yourself transported to another world of gnarled mountain pines. In all, there are 17 adventure stations with plenty of interesting information and entertaining games for visitors of all ages to play. The Sundew Trail takes its name from the plant of the same name, which can survive even in nutrient-poor environments, feeding on insects. The trail ends back at the Mooraculum, and what better way to bring the visit to a close than with a bike board ride from Rossweid back to Sörenberg.
