Description
From the village centre of Flims, you drive a few meters on the main road out of the valley until a paved access road branches off to the right at the end of the village. Shortly after, this road turns into a gravel path, turn left and after a few meters a fluid single trail starts on the left, which you follow until you reach the gravel road above Lake Cresta. Follow this – now going slightly uphill – road. At intersections always take the ascending path. Finally, you will reach the Conn forest clearing with an excellent view of the Rhine gorge, the "Little Swiss Grand Canyon". After this, you will take a forest road to arrive at Lake Cauma, an idyllic mountain lake in the midst of dense forest. After a long relaxing break, you ride back to Flims via the small access road.
Alternatives: You can find countless single trails in the forest of Flims, which can be used as shortcuts or as additional loops. Simply give them a try - sooner or later in the forest trail network you will come to a point that you have previously passed or one at which you can easily orientate yourself.
