Via ferrata Schwarzhorn

We first have to earn our way up the Schwarzhorn via ferrata. From the First mountain station, a road leads towards Grosse Scheidegg. After about 15 minutes, at a signpost, we follow the hiking trail that leads to the foot of the Schwarzhorn, then the blue-marked trail leads us to the "Grosse Chrinne" and on to the start of the via ferrata. And off we go! We follow the wire rope and the ladders (where there are no belay points) and then the ridge until we stand on the 2926 m summit. By the way, in the middle of the ascent, a bench is waiting for us, inviting us to take a comfortable break. And another tip: For the moderately difficult to difficult via ferrata we can book a mountain guide through one of the local schools.
