Kleine Scheidegg - Alpiglen (Nr. 64)

It’s an easy train ride from Grindelwald or via Lauterbrunnen-Wengen to the mountain railway station on Kleine Scheidegg. The spectacular view of the Eiger North Face will take your breath away on arrival. 

Follow the purple trailmarkers along the winter hiking trail down into the valley through Arvengarten, Mettla, to the Alpiglen mountain inn and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Grindelwald Valley. The mountain inn is the ideal place to re-energise with a cup of coffee and a piece of delicious cake. It is a comfortable train trip from Alpiglen back to the valley or you can make the descent on foot.
