Description

The Jakobshorn is easily accessible by cable car. At 2590 metres ü. M. you have a view of the entire Landwasser valley. The hike to the Stadlersee lake and on into the Sertig valley is popular. More challenging is this variant via the Jatzhorn and the Tällifurgga. A spectacular hike, which begins with a short but steep ascent. After only half an hour, you reach the Jatzhorn, the highest point in the course of the hike. The trail then leads slightly downhill and then exposed around the rock tower of the Witihüreli. Extreme caution is advised here. The beautiful views of the Dischma valley and Lake Davos should only be enjoyed standing up.

Postcard views are also guaranteed on the Tällifurgga. At the foot of Mittagshorn, Plattenfluh and Hochducan in the Sertig valley are the excursion destinations of Sertig Sand and Sertig Dörfli. The landmark and photo motif is the church «Hinter den Eggen» built in 1699, which is also often used as a wedding church.

Whoever wants to end the hike in the Sertig valley and take the post bus back to Davos can shorten the waiting time in one of the inns. Alternatively, you can take the hiking trail along the Sertigbach stream out of the valley and return to the starting point in Davos.
