Around Piz Lagalb

Start and finish of this run is the parking lot at the Lagalb cable car at 2093 m above sea level. On the well-marked and steadily ascending trail you will reach Val Minor and Lej Minor (2361 m above sea level). A further 100 metres of altitude difference will take you up to the old lift track at Val dal Bügliet. Then it's downhill again: a beautiful descent of about 200 metres in altitude leads to Ospizio Bernina and from there to the impressive Lago Bianco. Along the shore of the lake you will walk towards the big dam. You cross the bridge and turn onto an idyllic meadow trail that winds past two picturesque mountain lakes (Lej Nair and Lej Pitschen). Always there for orientation: the tracks of the Rhaetian Railway leading down the valley. From afar you can already see your destination, the car park of the Lagalb valley station.
