Description

The route starts at the Rothorn valley station. From there, you comfortably take the Rothorn cable cars 1 and 2 to the Rothorn summit. Now it starts, on the technically demanding singletrail heading towards Alp Sanaspans. Shortly before reaching the alp, a hiking trail turns left towards Culmet/Furcletta. From this junction on, you have about 1.5 hours of carrying and pushing your bike. The highest point is reached at Culmet; the view rewards the strenuous climb. From there you descend a few more meters until the final climb to Furcletta begins. This is conquered after about 20 minutes and the first stage destination is reached. In front of you lies the stunning Welschtobel. A 14 km flowing, partly gravelly singletrail awaits. The next stage destination is reached at Isla in Arosa. From there, you comfortably take the road up to Arosa and to the valley station of the Hörnli Express. The cable car takes you comfortably to Hörnli. From there, you either comfortably take the Urden cable car over Urdental or bike on the hiking trail to Urdenfürggli. From Urdenfürggli, first on the Bike Attack route (No. 611) towards Scharmoin. After the Mottahütte, the trail turns right onto the steep, demanding singletrail towards Parpan and Canols. Alternatively, you can also reach Canols via Scharmoin and the bike park.
