Description
The route starts directly at the mountain station of the Gotschna cable car, where you can marvel at the magnificent view of the Prättigau and the surrounding mountain peaks before the start. First you run for a short section on a driveway in the direction of Grünhorn and then turn right onto the trail. This is followed by 200 crisp vertical meters up to the Grünhorn. Continue along the ridge, always slightly up and down until you reach Parsennfurgga. This section is quite challenging, as the trail is exposed along the ridge. So caution is advised! After this exciting section, the trail descends towards Obersäss. From here on, it's all uphill! The last stretch to the highest point of the Davos Klosters region, the Weissfluh summit at 2,830 meters above sea level is coming up!You continue towards Wasserscheidi, where you turn right again onto a narrower trail. Then you follow the hiking trail from Wasserscheidi up to the summit, which is another 300 meters in altitude. At the top station you can already see the weather station of Meteo Switzerland, which sends daily measurement data to the whole of Switzerland. Now the final spurt follows on a hiking trail past the radar installation of the Swiss military. You have made it! Take a deep breath and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains!
