Furtschellas - Val Fex - Plaun Vadret

These 10 demanding kilometres will require hard work, but the sporting effort will be rewarded with exhilarating natural beauty. This cross-country ski trail, which starts between the Furtschellas valley station and Sils Maria and gains about 190 metres in altitude, starts off with a crisp ascent. With a few twists and turns, it passes Fex Platta and Fex Crasta. It then leaves Fex Curtins to the left and reaches its destination at 2070 m altitude. Here, at Plaun Vadret (Rhaeto-Romanic: glacier plain or glacier plateau), the glacier that gives the valley its name rises majestically from the bottom.
