Description
The enduro route via the Furcletta to the Welschtobel is one of the athletic highlights of the region. The starting point is the Rothorn valley station, from where the mountain lifts quickly make the summit accessible. From there, a technically demanding singletrail leads towards Alp Sanaspans before the steep section over Culmet and Furcletta is mastered – here carrying or pushing the bike is necessary.
Once at the top, a panoramic view of the highest class opens up. Then about 14 kilometers of flowing trails through the wild Welschtobel down to Arosa await. The route officially ends there – the return journey is conveniently made with the Rhaetian Railway.
Those with more energy can choose the sporting variant via the Weisshorn and Ochsenalp down to Chur – rewarded with additional panoramic views. Adventurers can also experience the route as a two-day variant with overnight stay in the unmanned Ramozhütte (reservation recommended in advance).
This route is part of the collection “Bike routes along the RhB line” and combines technically demanding trails with relaxed arrival by Rhaetian Railway. With the Graubünden Pass Bike unlimited train and postbus rides in the region can be used, guaranteeing maximum flexibility for your route.
