From Lindau to Rorschach: three-country tour by boat and bike

The tour starts in Lindau harbour with a boat trip from Lindau to Rorschach in Switzerland. The route first runs 12 km along the Lake Constance Cycle Path, past tranquil half-timbered houses. After crossing the Old Rhine, you cycle along this river for a few more kilometres. A little away from Lake Constance, you now also cycle towards the New Rhine until you finally cross it in Fußach. Along the Rhine Road you pass Austrian nature reserves in the Alpine Rhine Delta and finally Europe's largest lake stage in Bregenz. Along Lake Constance you return to Lindau. Cross the pier to reach the island of Lindau and return to the starting point of your 3-country tour. The boat trip takes approx. 1 hour. The pure cycling time is approx. 2 hours. The length of the cycling route is about 35 kilometres. For Switzerland, a passport or identity card is required.
