Description
This tour is characterised by rocky, alpine terrain and brilliant views over the mountains. Pure, alpine trails! The first 360° panorama awaits on the Greitspitz after the first steep ascent. You then follow the Schmuggler Trail over the ridge to the Salaaser-Kopf, where a flow trail towards the Zeblas-Joch awaits. This is the start of a passage over scree along the mountain flank of the ‘Piz Rots’ with a carrying passage to Fuorcla Val Gronda at the end. Once you reach the ridge, you are right on the border between Switzerland and Austria. Your efforts are rewarded with a flowing descent in category S3 and a fantastic view of the alpine landscape. This is followed by a partly blocked trail down towards the Heidelberger Hut, but before you reach the hut, the trail turns left towards Fuorcla Val Fenga - the Fimber Pass. With a final carrying passage, you earn the 6 km trail descent to the hamlet of Griosch. The almost 800 metre difference in altitude is clearly evident in this passage - what is still rocky and alpine at the top slowly but surely becomes a green mountain idyll again. The last singletrail sections of the day lead via Hof Zuort and Val Sinestra to Sent/Scuol.
