Von Rasa - Pizzo Leone - Corona dei Pinci nach Ascona

Take the Centovalli cable car to Verdasio and from there the cable car to Rasa. From Rasa, the route leads to the hamlet of Monti and to Alp Termine. From here the trail climbs considerably and through a beautiful chestnut forest you reach Pizzo Leone. Here you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° panorama from Lake Maggiore across the Magadino plain and up to the mountain range behind. On the panoramic high-level trail, you follow the ridge in an easy descent to Alpe di Naccio and on to Corona di Pinz. The descent is made in numerous serpentines via Monti di Schiavardo and Porera to Ascona.
