From Albignahut to the Forno Valley

The blue-and-white marked hiking trail passes small lakes, over rock and scree ridges, loose gravel and rock slabs. From the Casnil Sud pass you can enjoy a magnificent view and look directly at the impressive north face of the Cima dal Cantun and over the entire glaciated Forno basin. If you are lucky, you may even see ibexes.Good footing is required, but chains and climbing aids are installed in the most difficult places. The chains are installed at the beginning of summer.

Can be planned as a several-day tour with an overnight stay in the Albigna or the Forno Hut.  Or as a one-day tour without ascent to the Forno Hut.
