Circular hike Schaffhausen - Rhine Falls - Schaffhausen

Start your hike from Schaffhausen railway station and stroll through Schaffhausen's old town down to the Schifflände. From there, the path leads you along the Rhine to the railway bridge above the Rhine Falls. Of course, it is also worth walking a few metres further to see the Rhine Falls in all their splendour from the front. Book a round trip at the Rhine Falls basin to reach the Rhine Falls rock.

Continue over the railway bridge up to Schloss Laufen. From there, a nature trail leads along the Rhine, through the pretty village of Flurlingen to Feuerthalen. From there, a bridge leads back to Schaffhausen in the old town.
