Camaner Grat - a varied ski tour in the Safiental valley

The tour starts either from the valley road in Under Camana or from Ober Camana. The route climbs steadily up the wide slopes southwest of the Camaner Hütta. At around 2300 meters above sea level, you slowly turn left (NW) and head up the slopes and hollows along the ridge. A small-scale hilly landscape appears here completely unexpectedly and offers a very special landscape experience. The last 100 vertical meters are now a little steeper and have to be hard earned. However, the tremendous view down over the almost vertical northern slopes and the wide panorama at the summit easily make up for the many beads of sweat. After all, a good 1100 meters of ascent is no mean feat.

The descent can be made via the ascent route. However, this is not fixed on the Camaner ridge. In safe conditions, the wide slopes allow for various options. Although it is not officially closed, we do not recommend skiing in the Camaner forest. The wild animals seeking peace and quiet will thank you for it.
