Bündner Rheintal Wine Hiking Route

Description
The natural landscape features make the Chur Rheintal and the Bündner Herrschaft ideal for adventurous walks and hikes. The wine-growing communities and hiking suggestions are strung along the Rhine like pearls on a necklace. They are just waiting to be discovered and explored by you in any order you like.
The centerpiece of the wine hiking route consists of three circular hikes through the vineyards of Trimmis/Zizers (approx. 4 km), Malans/Jenins (approx. 10 km), and Maienfeld/Fläsch (approx. 10 km). These three “pearls” are connected by a 30 km march that leads from the Alpine city of Chur through the “small area of great wines” almost to the northern national border. In total, more than 40 km are signposted with the circular routes. You can get the wine hiking map at Chur Tourism at Chur station as well as along the way in the wine-growing communities. Have fun discovering!
And by the way: thanks to the sunny valley location, the wine hikes are possible almost all year round.
