Belchen route

The nearly 1500 meters of elevation demand endurance, but the reward is the many views and the relative remoteness of the route. It passes through many unknown small Baselbieter villages with nice places to stop. One should definitely not miss the short detour to the Belchenfluh, something like the Matterhorn for the Baselbieter. From the 1099-meter-high rock summit, on a clear day, the Mont Blanc can be seen, exactly 175 km away. Those who spend a few minutes on the summit feel revitalized. Such a place is called a power spot!
