Balmberg-Chamben circuit

The highlight of this circular hike starting from the Balmberg spa hotel is the rocky Chamben. It towers majestically above the Hofbergli. The sight is worth at least one photo. The trail continues via Hintere Schmiedenmatt to Hintere Hofbergli. The view of the Bernese Alps and the Three-Lakes Region will impress you. From Hofbergli, the brave can balance over the first suspension bridge in Canton Solothurn to Niederwieler Stierenberg. The rope bridge is 50 metres long.

Good to know: The post bus to the Balmberg runs daily and all year round and can also be hired exclusively for group trips. Various refreshment options are available on the hike.
