4 - Gurnigelweg - Sunnbüel

From the Sunnbüel valley station, it starts along the young and wild Kander. The path is steep at the beginning; you may want to take it a bit slowly. The section on the road is over after a few meters, then the trail briefly leads through the Gasterntal, time to enjoy. Soon the path rises steadily but moderately, the view of the Gasterntal gets better and better. After countless switchbacks, short sections with chains including a ladder follow before you walk flat again for a while through a small tunnel. On the other side of the Schwarzbach, it continues uphill through a lot of greenery. Once you reach the road at the top, there are 2 options. In early summer and autumn, a detour to the left to the Arvenseelis is worthwhile. In high summer, it is better to stay in the shade and go right to the Stock. Both variants end at the Sunnbüel mountain station.
