The modern copper-colored Voralpen-Express
The Traverso low-floor multiple-unit trains are distinguished by their large windows, bright interior, outstanding first class and spacious second class compartments. All seats are equipped with power outlets. A lovingly designed family compartment with hidden object scenes by illustrator Konrad Beck depicting the four seasons is available for families. The little ones can spread out their toys on the large tables or color the coloring book with the Zugpferdli (little train horses). The coloring book and crayons are provided free of charge by the customer attendant upon request. Two bistro areas on the train with vending machines for drinks and snacks are available for self-service. Payment can be made in cash in Swiss francs or euros, as well as contactless with a debit or credit card. You can also pay with Twint, Apple Pay and Amex. The fully air-conditioned trains meet the latest European disability equality laws and offer an information system with four to seven screens per carriage.
