Self-loading bicycles

Would you like to take your bike with you on your journey? SOB trains have step-free entrances and a spacious interior design. Bicycles can be stowed comfortably in the 12 bicycle spaces in 2nd class.

Electric bikes
(E-)scooters from 30 cm wheel diameter of the largest wheel, regardless of whether folded or not
Special bikes (e.g. recumbent bikes, tandem bikes)

Prices

You need a bicycle ticket for bicycles and authorized vehicles for self-loading. Choose between:

Bike ticket for short distances

2nd class, Half Fare Travelcard

Day ticket or multi-day ticket

CHF 15.– per day

Cycle pass, valid for one year

CHF 260.–

Bike shipping

Are you planning your bike trip more than two days in advance? Then have your bike picked up at home or send it as luggage from your train station.

Cargo bikes cannot be shipped due to their mass and weight.
