Travel in comfort in the copper-colored Traverso

The low-floor multiple-unit trains of the Traverso type are used on the route between Lucerne and St. Gallen. As the latest train generation from the Eastern Swiss rail vehicle manufacturer Stadler, the Traverso meets the highest design and comfort standards in both 1st and 2nd class:

  • step-free entrances

  • spacious and well-arranged interior design

  • 291 seats in 2nd class and 68 seats in 1st class

  • Power sockets at all seats

  • 10 bicycle spaces (self-loading at a charge)

  • Space for pushchairs at the entrances

  • Two PRM spaces for wheelchairs

  • Family compartment with illustrated hidden object scenes depicting the four seasons by Konrad Beck

  • Modern bistro area in duplicate with coffee machines, snacks and cold drinks
