Hiltl, Zurich
A visit to “Hiltl”, which has been located at Sihlstrasse 28 in Zurich since 1898, is a must. The oldest veggie restaurant in the world is now in its fourth generation and serves creative dishes based on vegetarian cuisine. Today you can also find “Hiltl” at other locations in Zurich; on the “Hiltl roof terrace” at Bahnhofstrasse 88 you can enjoy a magnificent view over Zurich.
tibits – Basel
Bern, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Zurich In the immediate vicinity of the train stations, “tibits” invites you to enjoy a healthy selection in a stylishly relaxed atmosphere. In Lucerne and St. Gallen, SOB customers benefit from an attractive combined offer for Sunday brunch.

The restaurant, which opened in May 2020, was awarded two Michelin stars straight away. Top cuisine that is worth a detour. At Magdalena, vegetables take center stage. At Rickenbachstrasse 127, you shouldn't just make a quick stop. Spoil yourself in the evening with multi-course menus in the historic building dating back to 1326.
Monte Verità, Ascona
The alternative and vegetarian colony of the early 20th century was the birth of the myth of Monte Verità. Today, Monte Verità is a state-of-the-art congress and cultural center. It goes without saying that the restaurant also caters for vegetarians and vegans from April to October. The Japanese tea pavilion is also well worth a visit.
Wok & Momo, Chur
In the old town at Untere Gasse 1 in Chur, Nepalese and Tibetan specialties (not exclusively vegetarian) are on offer: Here you will find tasty momos and particularly good woks.
Govinda, Locarno
Vegetarian and Indian cuisine can also be found near Piazza Grande at the historic Albergo Vecchia Locarno on Via della Motta 10 in the old town.
Bianconiglio, Bellinzona
Vegetarian cuisine near Piazza del Sole and Castelgrande. Located on Via Codeborgo 15 in the old town of Bellinzona.
No Name, Chur
On the other side of the tracks, just behind the train station in Chur at Gürtelstrasse 45, there are vegetarian dishes, homemade pasta, vegetarian and other burgers.
Jakob, Rapperswil
Located at Hauptplatz 11, Hotel-Restaurant Jakob is a good address in many respects. The menu offers vegetarian dishes as well as classic cuisine. The creative snacks and poké bowls available throughout the day are also very popular.
Karls Kraut, Lucerne
At the Reuss, at St. Karliquai 7, Lucerne, the food is not only vegan, but cooked exclusively with natural ingredients, as seasonally as possible and with regional raw materials. In addition to the monthly Sunday brunch, the restaurant also serves internationally inspired dishes.
