Start the day comfortably with the outward journey on the Treno Gottardo. On arrival, take the bus to Bürglen and then the cable car to Biel. The hike along the Schächentaler Höhenweg starts here and takes you past imposing mountain landscapes and impressive natural scenery in 2.5 hours.
