Badhütte Rorschach

Enjoyment over water The lakeside bathing establishment dating from 1924 is a historic box bath on stilts and can only be reached via a bridge from the shore. It is the only remaining building of its kind on the Swiss shores of Lake Constance and is listed in the Swiss Inventory of Cultural Assets. It was originally used to promote personal hygiene. Today, the “Badi”, as the locals call it, is a social meeting place for the “Seebuebe” and the “Seemaitli” of Rorschach and the surrounding area.
