What has changed with the new login process?

From the end of October, access to the SOB customer account (at unterwegs.sob.ch) will only be possible with a SwissPass login. As a result, all SOB customer accounts that cannot be linked to a SwissPass login will be deactivated on 30 October 2023.

Can I still create a customer account in the future if I don't have a SwissPass login?

No. From 30 October 2023, you will need a personal SwissPass login to create a login on unterwegs.sob.ch.

What can I do to prevent access to my SOB customer account from being deactivated?

To continue to have access to your SOB customer account in the future, you must first create a SwissPass login. You have the following options:

• I don't yet have a SwissPass login: Register at www.login.swisspass.ch by 29 October 2023 with the same email address as for your SOB account. After the changeover on 30 October 2023, your SOB account will automatically be linked to your SwissPass login. If you have stored any outstanding tickets and vouchers in your SOB customer account, download them as PDFs before 30 October 2023 so that you can continue to access them.

• I already have a SwissPass login: If you use the same email address for the SOB customer account, this data can be synchronised and linked directly to your SwissPass login. In this case, you do not need to do anything. The link will be made automatically the first time you log in to the SwissPass on the SOB digital marketplace. The password is the same as for your SwissPass login.

• I already have a SwissPass login but with a different email address: If you do not use the same email address for the SOB customer account, these data cannot be synchronised and linked directly to your SwissPass login. In this case, your account will be deactivated and you will have to create a new login with your SwissPass login data. If you still want to link your SOB customer account to your SwissPass login, change your SwissPass login email address so that it matches your SOB customer account.

What are the advantages of the new login process?

With SwissPass Login, you can access a range of online public transport services. Simply log in with your SwissPass Login without having to register for an additional service.
