Experience the HC Davos home games live and travel home in comfort on the extra train to Zurich
Travel carefree to Davos for the home games of the Davos Hockey Club (HCD) and back home again safely after the game with the special Rhaetian Railway (RhB) and Aare Linth special train. Special-rate tickets are available for the SOB special train. The special trains are operated in cooperation with the HCD and the Rhaetian Railway.
The special ticket includes
the outward journey with the IR Aare Linth from Zurich to Landquart
and the return journey with the Aare Linth special train from Landquart to Zurich.
The Aare Linth special train runs after every home game on Friday and Saturday after the arrival of the Rhaetian Railway's special train from Landquart to Zurich HB. The special train serves the stations of Sargans, Ziegelbrücke, Pfäffikon SZ and Wädenswil.
Normal tickets and the GA travelcard are valid on the Aare Linth special. Hockey fans can benefit from a discounted special ticket on request.
Friday and Saturday games:
Valid for the outward journey with the scheduled IR Aare Linth and the return journey with the Aare Linth special.
Sunday games:
Valid for a return journey with the scheduled IR Aare Linth.
Exception due to construction sites:
16 November 2024 - On this evening, the special train will only run as far as Wädenswil. A replacement bus will run between Wädenswil and Zurich main station.
23 November 2024 - On this evening, the special train will be cancelled due to major construction work on Lake Walen.
In the event of extra time, the SOB special will wait in Landquart for the RhB special from Davos to connect.

The extra trains after HC Davos's matches are a project close to the hearts of the Südostbahn railway company and the ice hockey club. We want to meet the fans' desire to be able to travel to the matches by public transport. That is why we also want to ensure that all fans – whether ice hockey fanatics or families with children – can experience a pleasant and safe journey on the IR Aare Linth. We need your help to be able to offer the special train.

Validity of special ticket HC Davos
With the special ticket, you buy a return trip from Zurich HB to Landquart with the following conditions:
After purchasing the offer, you will receive a confirmation email with the voucher for the trip. The voucher can be printed out or shown on a smartphone/tablet during the ticket inspection on the train.
The ticket for the outward journey is valid on the day of the match in the Interregio Aare Linth (IR35) from Zurich HB to Landquart in 2nd class.
For the return journey on Friday and Saturday evening, the ticket is only valid on the special train and with a match ticket.
For the return journey on Sunday for the afternoon games, the ticket is valid on the regular Interregio Aare Linth (IR 35 together with a match ticket between Landquart and Zurich main station in the booked class.
The special ticket can also only be used on a partial route. The prices are not distance-dependent.
Purchase only possible online at www.aarelinth.ch. The special ticket is not sold at the rail travel centres.
The offer is limited and only available while stocks last.
The GA, GA Night, Junior Travelcard and Children's Co-travelcard are valid, as are standard point-to-point tickets.
The ID card for passengers with a disability is also valid on the special event train.
The special ticket is personal, non-transferrable and valid only in combination with proof of identity (ID, SwissPass).
No exchange, no refund.
Code of Conduct on the special trains
To make sure we can offer the special event train, we need your help:
Please behave peacefully and respectfully, and look after each other in your travel group.
Keep the train tidy. We want other passengers to find our Traverso clean again, too.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the train. All seats and toilets are monitored for fire safety with sprinkler systems.
Any form of vandalism will not be tolerated on the SOB train. The vehicles are under video surveillance.
Please follow the instructions of customer attendants and security personnel.
The SOB reserves the right to sanction offending passengers in cooperation with the HCD.

Please use the regular trains for your journey to Davos.
The journey is included with the HCD special ticket from Zurich main station.
