The Treno Gottardo operated by the SOB will take you over the Gotthard panoramic route to Göschenen. You will then continue your journey with the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn up to Realp. This is where the impressive journey with the Furka steam railway begins. The route passes through the unspoilt nature of the Swiss Alps. After arriving in Oberwald im Goms, you will continue your journey by post bus over the Nufenen Pass to Airolo, where you will change to the Treno Gottardo for the journey home.

Train journey from Zurich or Lucerne via Göschenen to Realp and back from Airolo
Furka mountain steam railway experience from Realp to Oberwald incl. reserved seat (Departure 2.20 p.m., allocation on site by train crew)
Post bus journey from Oberwald to Airolo
