It is well known that the people of St. Gallen do not wear their hearts on their sleeves. And are therefore often underestimated. Wrongly so, the eastern Swiss metropolis offers many hospitable, lovable places of enjoyment. Almost to be expected and yet a surprise. We are greeted in the St. Gallen station concourse by the best-known delicacy in Eastern Switzerland: the St. Gallen bratwurst - without mustard. And then they often surprise you with their warmth. St. Gallen has grown up with the international textile trade. The embroidery boom is long gone, but internationality and diversity remain. The city is home to restaurants and pubs that could be found in Berlin, Copenhagen or Paris.
