Weisshorn
Description
The hike on the Weisshorn peak, the highest excursion point in Arosa, offers an all-around view over the Grison holiday destination and the whole Schanfigg valley. The trail starts at the middle station of the Weisshorn gondola and leads over meadows and wide mossy planes constantly uphill. The last stage over boulders and rocks begins at the Sattel hut (not open during the summer season) and ends on the Weisshorn peak.
Arrived on the top, enjoy the breath-taking all-around view on over 400 Swiss mountains and some from abroad. A tour of the peaks is a must; particularly since one can also see Chur, the oldest town of Switzerland, from a very different perspective. After admiring the view, relax and relish the delicacies of the peak restaurant Weisshorn on 2653 metres above sea level. The 360° demo scope panoramic window allows you to continuously throw a glance at the stunning view.
