“The 2341 meter high Wasserberg watches over the Muotathal like a king. The hike starts from Lipplisbüöl and is steep and challenging. As the locals say (äs gad nur eisch opsi). But those who take the effort will be rewarded with a fantastic view. For me as a Muotathal native, this is one of the most beautiful peaks in the region with a marked route. The magnificent view from the narrow summit ridge quickly makes you forget your everyday worries. With a bit of luck, you might even spot native animals such as chamois and marmots.” - Daniel Schelbert
