Village chapel

Description

The elegant, hexagonal ridge turret with its slender pointed helmet is one of the most beautiful of its kind. The south wall is decorated with a striking sundial.

Several statues from the second half of the 17th century - Our Lady, St. Joachim with Mary and St. Joseph with the infant Jesus, St. Wendelin and St. Nicholas as well as St. Anne the Third enrich the chapel.

A comprehensive restoration took place in 1976. The chapel, which dates back to the beginning of the 16th century, stands in the middle of the village at the turn-off to Schötz.
