Stoffelhaus

Description

Wall paintings from around 1400 have been preserved here. In addition to the courtly stag hunt scene, there are also fragments of an Old Testament story, the battle of Samson with the lion. Other fragments show farmers, cows and a flock of sheep, presumably a cattle raid. A visit to the exhibition can be combined with a guided tour of Fürstenau, the smallest town in the world.

Guided tours of the town with a visit to the wall paintings Every Tuesday in July and August, there is a guided tour of the town with a visit to the medieval wall paintings and the special exhibition in the Stoffelhaus in Fürstenau. The meeting point is at 5.30 pm at the Stoffelhaus. The tour lasts approx. 1.5 hours. Aperitif offered by the town and prepared by Casa Caminada in Fürstenau. The cost per person is CHF 10.00. Registration required. The dates can be found in the Viamala online events calendar.

Group tours for companies and clubs The Stoffelhaus is perfect for a company or club tour in combination with a guided tour of Fürstenau.
