Schmelzi Ausserferrera

For centuries, raw materials such as iron and ore helped the Ferrera and Schamsertal valleys to achieve a certain prosperity. Today the mines have been closed down, but the witnesses of the past are still visible. / The Hinterrhein Ore Mines Association ensures that these contemporary witnesses can be rediscovered in the mining museum in Innerferrera and on guided excursions.
