Pump track Val Schons

In autumn 2021, three fifth-graders had the visionary idea of creating a pump track in Andeer. Their enthusiasm for this trend sport was the impetus for a community project that led to the founding of an association. The municipality of Andeer was open to this project from the outset and actively supported it.

After intensive planning and collaboration with the renowned company Velosolutions, the project was successfully realised in summer 2024. The Val Schons pump track is centrally located on the Andeer school square and is easily accessible thanks to its proximity to public transport.

The pump track is designed to appeal to people of almost all ages, from children to teenagers and adults. Whether by bike, skateboard or scooter - the track offers fun and a sporting challenge for beginners and advanced riders alike. The facility is also freely accessible, so everyone has the opportunity to let off steam and improve their skills.

The Val Schons pump track is therefore not only a sporting meeting place, but also a symbol of the commitment and sense of community of the younger generation in Andeer.
