Muttner Höhi

Description

The Muttner Höhi sits majestically on a mountain spur above the confluence of the Hinterrhein and Albula rivers and is known for its spectacular views and botanical diversity. This special vantage point over the Domleschg and Heinzenberg is considered one of the most beautiful in Switzerland and has three idyllic benches to linger on - two with a view in one direction and one in the other. An easy hiking trail leads from Obermutten to the summit in 25 minutes, ideal for families and occasional hikers, as there are only 140 meters of altitude to overcome. At the summit, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view, and the benches and barbecue area invite you to take a break.

For those who prefer a short circular hike, there is a route that takes around 50 minutes from Obermutten to the viewpoint and back again. Obermutten itself is a charming mountain village with a unique wooden church and the Post mountain inn with its panoramic sun terrace.

The Muttner Höhi offers peace, nature, flora and an unforgettable view for all visitors.
