Mater Dolorosa Chapel in Capeder, Dardin

Description

The chapel was built in 1733-1736 according to tradition by the Baroggi family and extended to the west around 1880. The east-facing choir is recessed and closed on three sides. The older part of the nave is clearly set off from the younger western extension, which is 70 cm wider and 3.30 m long. Barrel vault. Lunette-shaped windows. Gabled roof with ridge turret. Simple framed altarpiece, newly gilded in 1931, with carved rococo antependium.Two bells without inscriptions.
