Mammoth Museum Niederweningen

The museum displays spectacular finds of mammoths and other animals from the Ice Age in Niederweningen. A time trail leads through the prehistory of humans, animals and plants - with picture and video stations as well as a quiz station to test your "mammoth knowledge". A picture exhibition shows the ice ages and climate change of the last 500,000 years.

The Mammoth Museum is ideal for visits by groups and school classes. These can be natural history excursions, local history lessons or simply school trips with a thematic highlight.
