La Stria Sculptures

Ugo works exclusively with a chainsaw when creating his sculptures. The Stria and the other works of recent years are considerably smaller than the enormous sculptures he has created in the past (up to 15 meters high!). Instead of hiding or polishing the marks and irregular saw cuts, he emphasizes them. Finally, he uses oil or acrylic paints to give the figures color. Each sculpture has a name.
