Isla Sut fireplace, Castrisch

The fireplace is located outside the village of Castrisch at the entrance to the Rhine Gorge. It can be reached in 20 minutes from Castrisch railroad station. Firewood and a toilet are available at the fireplace. What makes this fireplace special is the barefoot path.

The fireplace can be reached on foot via the Castrisch - Valendas - Sagogn - Station hiking trail and is located directly on the banks of the Rhine.

The fireplace can be used from around mid-May to the end of October. Please observe any instructions, e.g. regarding the risk of forest fires.
