Hotel and Castle Gerzensee

Formerly a summer residence for aristocrats, Gerzensee Hotel and Castle now serves as a study centre for central bankers from all over the world. In 1980, the Swiss National Bank took over the inviting manor house in Gerzensee, also known as the "Pearl of the Bernese Country".

With its own lake, boathouse and access to the idyllic park, Gerzensee Castle is probably one of the most beautiful in the Bern region.

The spacious grounds also invite day visitors to take a stroll through the park and go for a swim in Lake Gerzensee. Afterwards, you can savour a glass of the hotel's own castle wine on the castle terrace and watch the sun disappear behind the Bernese Alps.
