Historical Museum Baden
Description
The warm springs are inviting - envoys meet for a conference, guests travel to the spa, pioneers set up companies and create jobs for the masses.
In its exhibitions and events, the Historical Museum of Baden focuses on the exchange between people in the history of baths, industry and the Confederal diets. In the permanent multimedia exhibition History in the extension building, which is popularly known as the "Melnonenschnitz" (melon slice, due to its shape), you move digitally - in analogue space. You can surf freely through the history of the Baden region and discover unexpected connections between thermal bathing culture and alternating current, between everyday factory life and youth movement via the unique linking concept.
Two special exhibitions per year focus on a socially relevant topic with a strong contemporary meaning, locally anchored but of global significance.
